Front Bra
Well whadda ya know? There's an invinca-shiled installer about 4 minutes from my house! It's even in my town. And there's two Xpel places within 15 minutes of my work. Are they the same exact thing? Or is one a little better than the other? Can you notice it on your vehicle? Does the color change at all and is it ok to wax?
On my wedgwood blue Lariat, there was absolutely no notable color difference with the film on, than before it was on. Also, as I said previously, according to my installer, you can wax it after a curing/drying period which I believe was 10 days. Even though the film may be the same from one brand to another (Xpel, Invinca, etc.) it's the application of that film that requires the real skill. Fortunately, they have pre-cut kits for our trucks and it makes life a whole lot easier on the technician (or the truck owner for that matter) doing the install. At the time I got mine done last fall, they didn't have kits out yet for the lower painted portion of the bumper. The guy doing mine came to my work and just needed a covered area out of the sun. He did the install on the front potion of the hood, upper painted bumper, front portion of the front fenders, headlights and foglights in about 30 minutes. On the lower portion, as I said, he didn't have a pre cut so he skillfully cut it himself. It took him another 45 minutes or so to cut and attach that section. I can't tell a bit of difference. The only place you see the film is where it ends. I can only really see it on the hood about 4 or 5 inches back from the chrome surround of the grill.
