Bed Cover

Heres the deal. I want to buy a bed cover for my truck and would like everyones 2 cents. What I am looking for is a hard type cover but I need to be able to have acess to the bed and don't really what to have to remove it every time. I have been looking at the ReTrax but only have seen them for the SCrew and the 5.5 bed.

They do make them for your bed. (Wasn't sure if you were aware of that.)

No I was not. Every place that I have seen them they show SCrew and 5.5 bed. Even their web site don't show it. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.

Goto http://www.truckgadgets.com. or call them at 800.966.8785. Ask for Wayne. I found them to be very helpful over the phone, and the best price I could find delivered to my door. They also threw in the gasket kit for my tailgate, and the lock cover for free.

I once helped a buddy custom make one for his 49' Ford.

After it was done it looks SWEET.

Use angle iron as the frame, 3/4" plywood, and cover the plywood with black artificial turf.

You can make the cover fit flush with the bed. Kinda hard to explain, but you can prolly get a visual, huh?
