I'm sure you've probably answered it before, but where did you get your grill inserts from? Price?

Thanks

SONA and TravyO, I got the lift kit from ebay as well. I won it for 85 dollars.
It is the daystar 2.5 lift. A local accessories shop (trail blazers) chared 175.00 for installation.
I had the lift way before I ever got my truck and just had not had the time to have it installed. Im sure one could install it, if you have the tools. I just dont have the tools or time.

I will be using 20 inch american racing wheels and 305-55-20 nitto tires.

4u2catch, the ebay users name for the grill inserts is "customautoparts"....they are located in corona ca.

Thanks for the info
I trust this is a Carriage Works grille?
It looks like you removed the factory grille as I cannot see the plastic surround in your pics?
If you did remove, can you reinstall at a later date?
Please advise the model # of the grille
Thanks much!

PS 'prostreetlighting' on ebay sells the silver turn signal bulbs - look real good

4u2catch ,

It is the carriage works polished grill- part number 42102 and the lower bumper grill is part number is 42122 from this web site.
http://www.carriageworksinc.com/Ford.jsp

The factory honeycomb grill was removed for the carriage works grill. Im sure the factory grill could be reinstalled.

Ill check into those bulbs, thanks for the info.

Thanks 04 Red Lariat

Last questions
Your closeup of the grille seems to show some of the bars are bent at the edges or is this just the picture?
Happy with the quality of the grill?
Did you reattach the blue oval to the front or what....?

Thanks much

Hey 04 Red, that $175 install at the shop, did that include the front end alignment? It looks great. I'm hoping to do that soon. Along with the grills.

It can be done by yourself, you'll just have to rent a coil compressor and make sure to head straight to the alignment shop.

Thanks,
tj

tj4ndirish, 175.00 included everything.

4u2catch, some of the bars are bent on the edges, and the top bar is bent too. I never did take the time to perfect them.

I put the grill in at dark in the driveway and I am not sure if its somthing I did or if it came like that.

I reinstalled the original ford emblem with 2 sided tape, the studs on the back were not long enough to go through the grill insert for the nut to go back on.
