I got a Blazing Yellow one And for the most part I love it!! (so does the local Sunoco) My only complaints are no power windows and locks, thats a long stretch to the pass. door. I also have the dreaded shudder in the rear end... where are you at? Isaw a Silver one near Medina Ohio w\a temp tag several times now....later..

I got my Shadow Grey STX Scab two days ago, and am loving it so far. I'm a bit concerned about the "spongey" acceleration, but I'm still trying to puzzle out whether the 4.6L is a little under-powered, or if it's something in the drive by wire programming. Anyone else with a 4.6L have any thoughts?

I'm another new owner of an STX F150. I picked it out about a week ago. I've had nothing but great compliments from everyone. I decide to go with the red. I think the red and yellow STX trucks are the eye catchers.

About the lack of power locks and windows, the locks can be taken care of fairly easy. Are there any options for converting the windows to power? I hope everyone enjoys their new truck.

SVTErick,

Can you elaborate on your power mods? Did you get them as a dealer option? or did you go aftermarket? Also, were they a reasonable price? I really want power windows. Thanks for the info....

You can get the power windows & locks from www.a1electric.com

I also have a 4x4 STX in white. Current upgrades are power windows (universal-Colibri star) & 4 Rockford Fosgate speakers.

I have the exact same truck, and it's no speed demon.

I love the fact that it's a TRUCK...nothing fancy. You'll learn to love the plastic floors and hate that loooooong reach over to unlock the passenger door for your friend.
