What harness to use for radio?

Does anyone know which radio wiring harness to use for the 04 f150?

Thanks, trying to install xm delphi radio without splicing the cables.

The wiring harness you are looking for is a SCOSCHE FD23B.

just be sure you are getting a specific harness for the 04. To my knowledge, there is no one with a harness that enables the aux on the 04 radio. This is because a new protocol (CANbuss) is used for communication between the radio and other devices (factory DVD) which the company that I work for makes.

otherwise your options will be FM modulator, FM broadcaster, or if ordered, the aux input of the factory DVD ( which uses this CANbuss and the aux button on teh radio)

hope this helps

please post if my info is not up to date

Ramb, just so you know they are the exact same plugs as the 03 Expy. However you are corect in that he is not going to get an AUX input between the XM and his stock deck yet.

Yep, right..... sorry
I read XM satellite, and didn't read "radio"
so changing the radio headunit can use the harness.

aux input doesn't apply here

Ramb, I'm sure this has already been addressed several times, but here it goes again. Will there ever be a way to use the AUX button, for instance I've just bought the XM commander and for now I'll be using the FM modulator that came with it. While I'm not jumping for joy about this, I felt like in a year or so someone would come out with a way to utilize the AUX feature.

Personally, I don't have any additional knowledge regarding who is working on this. I "hear" on the board that suppliers like soundgate are working on it. I'm just trying to state the info i have regarding the reason it is not a simple harness.

sorry i don't have any additional info
