4X2 STX or 4X4 XLT????
I went cheap, cheap, cheap... and ended up with a base 4x2 STX, and added cruise, CD, tow, foglights. Sure it doesnt come with power windows/locks or a nice dash... but then again the truck listed for only $26K.
Ford Employee discount ran me a LOT less. Then, adding wheels/tires, window tint, Access tonneau, and mudguards = grand total $23,500 with title/tax/gratuity as she sits it this picture:

I'd think you could score a nicely equipped Reg Cab STX 4x4 with the 4.6L for like $23k......
It is a shame, the dealers around have such poor stock, around Denver here, everything under the sun 04 F-150 wise seems to be on the lots.

OK...I got an 04 Heritage (STX).....I paid about $15,000.00 for mine.
-non power (windows/locks)
-Kenwood MP3/CD player (standard)
-V6
-ah hell ... take a look at it.

I only paid 15 for it. Thats a great deal for truck. All I have to do now is start adding my goodies.
