Tire Rotation

A friend of mine has a 03 Screw Lariat with Goodyears and he tells me he gets his tires rotated for free at Goodyear shops. I thought this only applied to aftermarket purchased tires at the shop, not the to the tires that come on the truck when you buy it from the dealer. Anyone know of this?

BTW, I have BFG's.

On my past F-150's that came with the GY's, I've had out-of-round porblems and had them replaced at both the Ford dealer and the GY dealer. On one occasion, I was 1000 miles from home, half way through a road trip, when I just couldn't take the shaking any more. I stopped into a local GY dealer and they offered me replacement tires under warranty. I thought that was pretty cool, until the new ones went out-of-round too. I've had no luck with Goodyear...........

I believe that your tires are covered by the manufacturer but Ford will usually replace them without complaint just to keep you happy.

BTW, I have the BFG's too.

Of course some people will have great experiences with a certain brand and others will not, so take this for what it's worth...

My dad (long time mechanic) doesn't like Goodyear tires. Apparently he's either seen too many problems from customers or had issues with his own tires. He DOES like BF Goodrich. I'm very happy with the ride, sound (quiet), quality and look of my BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A's (275/65 18)
