new D.I.Y tsb announcement for vibration

This only applies if you have the audiophile system installed on your new F-150.

If you're experiancing a vibration that can be felt in the bottom portion of the drivers seat it is recommended that you take your right hand and reach forward toward the radio. Grasp the volume **** and turn it clock-wise to intensify the volume and confirm that this is the cause of your vibration. After confirming, kindly remove your right hand from the volume control ****, sit back and enjoy having a factory installed stero that sounds this good. It is not adviseable that you turn the volume control **** counter clock wise!

sorry guys I just had to do this. I was traveling down the road this afternoon with a Kid Rock CD "crunk" up load. Suddenly I realized I felt a vibration in the seat and I was like NOOOOO this isn't happening. Upon closer inspection, mainly I turned down the radio to concentrate on locating the vibraton I realized it had stopped. LOL so I turn the radio back up and I'll be dogged if the vibration didn't come back. This time I realized the cause and just couldn't wait to get home and post it.

Sorry to get the hopes up of the guys that are really experiancing the dreaded vibrations. I certianly hope Ford finds a fix for you guys soon!!

Spent some time in a new F150 Lariat late Friday and early Saturday. It had the audiophile system. I merely thought what you refer to was a new Vibrating Lumbar System to help massage the lower back. The VLS, when coupled with the heated seat option is very therapeutic.
