Check out my new tires & wheels!

I just purchased new tires and wheels today and had them put on. I really like the way they look. They don't look too bling bling and don't look to backwoods. I was looking for an aggressive classy look.

The tires are Nankang 305/50R20 with 20" American Racing wheels. Let me know what you think.

Tires and wheels look sweet man!!! One thing though....Get rid of those chrome fender guards and door edge guards. Reminds me of a puerto rican porsche(old rx7). I can almost picture some little mex drivin one of them around with rust all over the car yet still havin some shiny fender flares and door gaurds.

Everything else is on point IMO.

Dont take any offense. Just not my style.

I hate to be a party pooper, but I don't understand tires and wheels like that on a 4x4. To me they just scream "the furthest off road I'm going is accidently driving up on my lawn." Why bother with four wheel drive in San Diego, then put "racing" wheels and tires on?

If it was a used truck that I was looking at buying, the first thing I'd do is figure what it would cost to replace them with something that looks like it belongs on a 4x4.

I'm being a party pooper...I'll shaddup

That's cool. To each their own. I love my truck and I searched high and low for good looking rims but for the 04, there isn't much out there yet. I didn't want the same ol' samel ol' 4x4 truckin wheels that you see on every 4x4 around. Unfortunately, all the good looking wheels aren't made for the 04' that I would have like to see on on BFG ATs. Thought I'd try something different. In the latest Truckin' magazine, they spotlighted a 4x4 that doesn't even look like the traditional 4x4 and is probably where I got some of my ideas for the look of my truck.

Anyway, thanks for all feedback. And the fender flares are staying even if tbey do remind some people of Puerto Rico :-)

Awww cmon I meant nothing by it. I am by no means dissin puerto ricans. My best friends is puerto rican. Even he would think its funny to see some pos drivin down the street barely running with more rust then paint, but still has brand new spinner hubcaps, fender and edge gaurds on it. Someone can call me a WOP all day long and I wouldnt take offense. Its jsut a joke nothin more...

my 2 cents

Sorry to have made this thread kinda go off topic.

I think those chrome fender flares look awsome. Those are exactly what I want to do to my red Screw. Where did you get them?

sweet rims

Rims look great, 20's look normal on these trucks, wheel well is so big and all. i agree with previous on the stainless wheel well liners, but hey to each his own, overall looks great! If you decide you want a more all terrain tire next time around Nitto makes a 305/55/20 terra grappler all terrain. I am running the 325/60/18 for now until I can afford 20's on my FX4. They ride and look great. Great looking tonneau as well! Congrats
