Question Interior fuse panel location?

The book seems to indicate that it's under the driver's side dash...but I don't see it. I didn't spend all day down there looking, but I did spend a few minutes to make sure I wasn't looking too fast and miss it. Where EXACTLY is it? You have to remove a panel to get to it don't you?

I thought it was on the passenger side where the rug ends. I don't have my manual handy, unfortunately.

Had a PDF copy of the manual here at work (!!!)

"Passenger compartment fuse panel / power distribution box
The fuse panel is located under the right-hand side of the instrument panel. Remove the trim panel and fuse box cover to access the fuses."

Since it says Passenger compartment, I think its on that side.

Only thing I saw on the passenger side was the blower housing (took up most of the area on the left) and the fuel pump cutoff switch...but maybe it's under there with the cutoff switch? I didn't pull carpet back or try to remove a panel, but then...I didn't see a panel that would be obvious to remove. On all my other cars, you couldn't miss the fuse panel when you looked under the dash. I'd just like to know where it is for emergencies.

It's on the passenger's sidewall at the floor. If you were sitting in the passenger's seat, move your foot to the right till you hit the wall. That's the door.
