Question X-plan ?

I have a 04 f150 coming soon. A friend of mine is giving me some number. She says thats it's a friends and family discount. X-plan I think ? I am paying for this truck outright and have no trade in. How will this plan help and what is it? Thanks

D plan is the "family plan".

I would have to check, but I think I got my truck for about $800 below invoice with it.

She really didn't say what plan or know what the plan was. Her husband works for ford and said she could help with the price. She is going to give me a number to use at purchase.

a number?

Do your homework first. Go the the fordvehicles.com search inventory site and find out the invoice of the truck you're interested in. Then compare it to whatever "deal" you're getting.

The number is not the price of the vehicle but a number that will be on fords computer for a year. And I will give the dealer this number at the time of puchase and recieve some plan or discount?

I used it

I used the X-Plan to get my truck, and I ended up saving about $2000.00 or so.

The number you're gettin is a PIN number. I used my D-plan PIN (my brother works at Ford), no price haggling, the whole deal was done in less than 30 minutes. My MSRP was just under $40k and I paid a little over $32 with it.

I used the x-plan in Canada, and it took about $ 6000 CDN off the MLSP, the dealer made $762 CDN.

I had no idea the xplan- could get you lower than invoice.

The dealer told me that the d-plan extends to all generations of family ties, if you can prove that your great grandpa worked there, you get it............... kinda hard to believe.

You can have an employee sponsor a "Friends and Family" X-plan for a vehicle purchase. Its intent is to sway you from buying a competitor's vehicle....

Any questions, email me drudis@ford.com
