People with flareside boxes

Do you notice that the box is slightly off center when you look behind the cab where the box starts? Mine is about 1/8th of an inch towards the driver side and was wondering if anybody had it fixed or straightened at the dealership?

Sorry, but I had not noticed it or thought about it until you mentioned it. So I went outside and looked, good news mine is straight and square to my human eye. I could not tell any problems with it not being in alignment.

Yea mine is also straight. I remember reading a post a while back where several reg box trucks had misaligned beds. Try doin a search. If I was you I would take it to the dealer and have them fix it. Im sure they would have no problem doin it.

Mine is off to the drivers side by about 1/4 of an inch. It seems that some early builds of both styleside and flairside boxes had this issue. I am planning to wait for a little warmer weather and pull my bedliner and do it myself. It is only 6 bolts and I know that I will do it right. I do not want to see the dealler again if possible. My fuel door spring broke when I opened it to put gas in last week and it is going to the shop next monday to have the filler neck piece and a new door installed. They have to paint the replacement door so it will be in the shop for 2 days on this. I love my truck but I have been to the service dept. for too many little warranty issues (ie: steering wheel nibble, replacement of defective interior panels...twice, and now the fuel door) and I am sick of seeing these guys.
