Shifting feels rough?!

I've been reading quite a few posts on the vibration problem some people have reported. I'm not sure what it's supposed to feel like but on my XLT Screw, I've noticed that it shifts real hard from low into the next gear. It seems to "grab" instead of shift smoothly. It only happens when I'm in low gear accelerating out of a dead stop and then it "grabs" within a few seconds as it changes into the next gear. Does that sound normal and are other people experiencing the same thing as I am? I thought I'd bring it up. It doesn't bother me that much but if it's not normal I'd like to know so I can have the dealer take a look at it.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I have the Rear End Shudder problem, but my truck accelerates very smoothly through all gears.

Does it get smoother after the transmission warms up? Either way, it doesn't sound like any of the problems listed on this forum, so I'd see your dealer about it.

Mine kind of feels as you descibe when it's cold. I just assumed it is because the fluid is thick and cold. Always smoothes up by the next stop light. Kind of feels like a shift kit that first time through the gears in the AM.
