truck is here

My dealer called. My truck is here. I am going to go look at it today and make sure everything is in order. Then they are going to have the local Line-x dealer pick it up on Friday AM to be ready Friday afternoon.

I was quoted $290 for my SCREW...from what I have read that is a really good prices.

Also, I asked if they spray over the rails and he said no. They take the bed caps off, spray up to the edge, then put them back on, does that sound right?

The one mess up that he told me was that I origianlly ordered the flat running boards but changed my mind a week later to the chrome....well the truck came with the flat black boards...so he said we can figure something out....

I will post my bannanas when I have truck in hand and digital pix taken....

so basically 4 weeks and 5 days :-)

My spray in liner was the same way. They removed the caps, sprayed up to the edge, then put the caps back on. I have a tonneau cover on it now, mounted right onto the caps. Can't even see them, since the cover overhangs the sides of the bed.

I have the 6.5' bed, and it was about $325 so your price sounds about right for a 5.5' bed.

Enjoy! I'll be you're chomping at the bit to get over there and check it out!

Awesome you got your truck so fast. The process the LineX guy described to you is the right way, and your price is by far the lowest I've seen. Too bad about your RB's. My dealer had both kinds in stock so I'm sure they can find a way to get the right ones on pretty quick.

Line-X is Great

You will love the Line-X treatment. When you get it back notice they even removed (or covered it real good) the hardware in the bed, sprayed and then re-assembled the hardware. Quality job. You will be very happy.

Excellent, my dealer called again. The line-x will be finished today and then they will prep everything in the AM.

They had the chrome rails in stock, so they are putting them on with no additional charge.

I am to be at the dealership at 2:00pm to pick it up.

:-)
