Anyone Got a Winch?

Has anyone installed a winch on their '04 F150? If so, could you include brand, capacity, amperage draw, ease of installation, if you notice the engine running hotter with the winch blocking the radiator, and oh yeah, cost? A picture sure would be nice too. Thanks!

I don't have it yet, but was looking at a Ramsey 9500 patriot series brush gard with integrated 9500# wireless winch. The whole set-up runs ~$1200, but you have to install it yourself. The install lokks pretty straight forward.

Squeaker,

Looks great! From the looks of it, it pretty much blocks the airflow to the transmission cooler, doesn't it? Do you also have the two package? It doesn't look like blocks the engine radiator at all, which is good to see.

Just checked a web site that carries the 9500 Patriot.

The amperage draw is incredible! 180 amps for 2,000 pound draw, 260/4000, 335/6000, 395/8000, 430/9500.

The web site says this winch connects directly to the battery. I would hope so!

I like the idea of a remote control for the winch. It'll make it a lot easier that way. The site I saw wanted $951 for the winch with wireless remote, but that didn't include any additional bars.
