Wink removing the cats in the new '04

Assuming someone wanted to install a complete exhuast system in the new f-150 (from headers to tips) and eliminate the cats. What would have to be done the "trick" the computer?
I have seen this sort of exhaust of 5.0L mustangs make some impressive gains, but don't know enough about the new f-150's electronics to even know if it could be done.
Any thought? (I know it wouldn't pass emissions testing!)

Not being sarcastic, but if it won't pass emissions (and you're correct it wouldn't) why would you even consider it?

Lets see???? In most peoples case it is not tested. That would be a good reason IMO.

He said it wouldn't pass emissions. I assume he meant where he lives.

I don't know about Wisconsin, but I can tell you that in California and Colorado no cat means no pass. Period.

If you ever get behind a vehicle without polution control while going through a drive-thru line, you will no doubt be thankfull most vehicles are relatively clean. Burning eyes and stinging sinus' suck. That's my observation anyway....
