The service director showed me an e-mail about a recall on the Freestar because of false signals from the reverse sensing system and suggested that down the line, there will be one for our trucks also. It's a problem with water getting into the sensor wiring. Stay tuned. At least they are recognizing that it's a problem for some, and a saftey issue too. Just wanted to share that tidbit with those of us that are having the problem.
