$2.11 for 87 octane here in Las Vegas. We get our gas from California so I guess that's why it's so high here. But why is it so much higher in Cali than the rest of the country?

Interesting thread, I have used super unleaded premium, 91-93 octane since I bought my truck Oct 2002. I might try 87 since all you guys are using it. But at 93 the truck runs great.

Gas in Virginia is 1.69 unleaded 1.74 midgrade 1.79 Super

I filled up with 87 octane for $1.88 in College Station Sunday.
It's been going for from $1.59 to $1.66 around Dallas.

i use the 87 oct.. from chevron I pay more but I think chevron is a better gas then am pm. I never fill up at a gas pump when the big truck is there filling up the tanks at the station. it mixes up all the crap in the stations tank.

These trucks are factory tuned for 87 octane as I understand. I wouldn't use premium fuel unless my PCM was reprogrammed with a chip or microtuner mod.

You west coast and northern neighbor boys got some pensive gas.....holy schnickt!
