Question: I found a grill for sale from a FX with the bars that I would like to use on my lariat. The grill does not come with the surround piece. Can I use it with my existing chrome surround on my lariat and if so how do the 2 pieces bolt together. I thought the grill and surround was 1 piece, does any one know if it is 1 piece or 2?

 

Has anyone changed their grill? Is it 1 piece with the surround attached and molded as one unit, or is the surround a seperate piece that the grill fits into?

The surround is a separate piece. You should be able to use the chrome on of your grill and just put it on the FX4 style one.
