XM Radio antena in a Screw

I am looking to install a new Head unit in my Scew with a Sirrus radio controls and the sirrus radio system. I want to put the antenna on the back of the roof. I was wondering if anyone has any pics or explinations on how they ran the cable for the antenna.

Thanks

It's extremely easy. The cable runs behind the rubber molding on the inside of the doors where it meets the felt roof liner.

Basically, all you have to do is "look" at the inside of the cab, it will become quite clear.

Good Luck, and have fun!

It is easy, but you can have it done pretty cheaply at your local shop.

Also, you can install it on the front of the cab as can be seen in my gallery. Further discussion in "Any new sat. radio intalls?" thread.

Let me make it even easier for you.

Take the third brake light/ cargo light out by removing the 2 screws then pull the light up and off, take the plug end of the antenna cable run it down in the light opening then go inside the cab and reach under the head liner and pull the cable out.

Once the cable is out just run it down the door seal and under the bottom of the door seal then around the front of the carpet under the dash and to the radio thats it.

Another place that you might consider is beneath your wiper cowl...
