Parking Lot Titan vs Lariet pic
The dimensions are supposedly about the same with the Titan being about 5.5" shorter, but the Pathfinder Armada I saw looked pretty small to me...similar to these pics. It didn't look comparable to an Expedition, more like an Explorer.
If this link works right it will show the comparison from the MSN Auto section.

That is not a Titan, 4x2 or otherwise!!! I've sat in a Titan, and it is just as big as the F-150, in fact the rear seat area appeared to be larger than the F-150.
That pic is either doctored or it is a modified Frontier.
C'mon, look at the dimensions above, there are less than .2 inches difference in any direction between the 2 vehicles.
One thing I noticed about the parking lot was the length of the parking space painted lines. The parking space lines for the so called Titan look a lot shorter than the F-150 parking space lines...
Don't force me to go out to a Nissan dealership and take pics of a side-by-side Titan 4x2 vs. my Screw FX4!!!
Amusing thread none the less.
I think that is a Titan...certainly looks like one.
The perspective of the picture might make is appear so much smaller, but if there are so many doubters...why doesn't someone go get a comparison picture to show otherwise.
Until that happens, I think the above pics are accurate.

It's interesting how close the colors are as well. I don't like the Cab shape on the Titan, It arcs up fast on the windshield then ends abruptly on the back. The Fiddy has much smoother lines. It's a looker for sure. The Titan is just akward.....or should I say "fugly".

Where is the Ford bigger...???
I think we're dealing with a deceptive pic.
It is a Titan...I noticed that same thing the other day. I was parked next to a 2wd Titan and noticed that my truck was a good bit bigger. It at least appeared larger.
For those of you that think this is not a Titan...well just plain and simple...you are an idiot..
and your truck is a Lariat...not a Lariet

Having a bad day or what...???
Lighten up, nobody is trying to take your truck away from you, nor is anyone slamming the F-150.
sheeshhh.
The numbers are close but, the Japanese can make anything look smaller, sweeping instead of blocking edges etc... that is their forte.
The tape measure may reach the same point at the end but, one has sheetmetal places where the other one don't.
And it's a 4x4 infront of a 4x2, you can get the same effect with two Fords.

The angle of the shot makes a big difference. A better comparison would have been from the side. If this picture was taken from behind the Titan it would look larger!
I can make a grasshopper look bigger than a 747 without doctoring anything in the photo just by using the right angle (ie the grasshopper is close and the plane is far away)!!

You know what, if someone had posted the same pic with the
F-150 in the back, looking like a Ford Ranger in comparison to the Titan, we'd have some extremely angry F-150 enthusiasts running around looking for Titan vs. F-150 pics to "PROVE" the
F-150 is the dominant looking vehicle.
I will concede that, yes, that is a Titan, but the picture is worthless because of the angle or whatever is causing the Titan to look like a Mid-Size Truck instead of the Brawny Full Size Truck that is supposed to be the F-150's competition (self proclaimed by Nissan, I guess).
I wouldn't be so adamant if it weren't for the fact that I actually sat in a Titan and have viewed them on dealer lots, for my own comparison.
Note:
I still find the Titan pretty F**ing ugly with an inferior design and workmanship compared to my f-150 Screw FX4.
