I have the overhead rail system on my 2004 f150 supercrew and I am looking to install an aftermarket screen in one of the utility bins. Does anyone know how to remove the front dome piece that holds the lights? I figure it just snaps off, but I didn't want to mess up anything. I need to remove it in order to run my wires to the screen.

it is held to a bracket by 4 spring clips
remove the first bin, and then just pull on the back of the "console" with a quick tug and it will fall down. then remove the wire connector that goes to the reading lamps to get the console out of your way.

it then just pushes back on when you're done.

Please take pictures if possible and document what you do. Hopefully, Ford will release the wire harness for purchase through the dealer and I will be installing the DVD system before the big trip this summer. I'd like to do it myself.
