Question Daytime Running Lights?

I have on order an XLT Supercrew 4x4 5.4 due in April. I am trying to figure out what accessories I want to add when it gets here. FordAccessories.com has Daytime Running Lights listed at $77.00. So, do any of these trucks come with daytime running lights or do I have to add them as a dealer installed accessory? Or, can I order them from Ford Accessories and install them myself? Also, if I do have them, can I turn them of when I don't want them on? Thanks in advance?

Daytime running lamps are not included on the F-150 from the factory. They must be installed as dealer add-on or purchase through an Aftermarket supplier.

Unless you're from Canada....

There's no denying that its safer with them on..
My only problem is they shouldn't go on until you put the truck in drive....
No need for the neighbours to have lights blasting in thier window at 5:30 am while the truck warms up

There are 2 dealer installed ones you can get.

1) One is just DRL's.
2) The other is DRL's with Autolamp feature.

I imagine if you already have the Autolamp feature, then you'd just get the first one. I don't think you would need to get the 2nd one if you already had Autolamp, to get both features to work. At least, I would hope not!

Anyone done this yet? And which one did you go with? Did you have Autolamp already (Lariat)?
