vibration in doors from sound
The rear passenger door on my Scab is vibrating with bass when i turn up my stereo. I got a 6disc no audiophile system. Its driving me nuts to the point i got my sound system signals moved to just the front. How can i deaden the vibration!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's my understanding that in some of the 2004's the new sound insulation has been coming loose inside the door panels. This has been described as the same noise you are hearing. I believe it is a waranty issue and the dealer should be able to look at it. Just a thought.
I didn't mean the 10's are in the doors, just that my interior is getting pounded by 10's and I have no Rattles.
Sounds like Chemgod might have your answer. What ever it is should be covered under warranty by your dealer. There shouldn't be any vibrations coming off your panels caused by the speakers, especialy stock.

its not so much of a vibration with mine, but it seems to get painfully distorted when up loud----kind of like a vibration, but just not clear---I put the bass about half and the treble a little higher---I have never really like a lot of bass (I listen to mostly country or alternative) I also turn on compression---does anybody else feel this way about their audiophile? Just seems it has no clarity when turned up above half way----thanks for any suggestions-----

well i took off the front driver door screen to see just what is behind it. Even though its the rear doors that vibrate under load basey songs. Well i broke at least 4 clips taking it off
tried to fix it with glue, didn't work
and put it back on and now it doesn't fit in tight, it is kinda loose

first i know this is really old - but this is all i could find when i searched
okay
i read this email and I've got a few questions.
I have the same shudder/rattle whatever you want to call it, only mine is in the front drivers side door.
figured it was a blown speaker and wanted to replace all speakers anyway, so i bought some infinity kappas and now it is worse because of the stronger base in the new speakers
i can stop the shudder by pressing on the door panel, so i am assuming the panel is loose somehow. this is an 04 supercrew with the non-audiophile system.
has anyone else had this problem. I've taken both the drivers and passenger door off to try to see if anything looked unusual, but i didn't notice anything.
any help would be appreciated it.
