Question '04 f150 SCREW ride vs. newer f250 SCREW

Anyone here have experience in a 2004 F150 4WD SCREW and also a late model to new F250 4WD SCREW?

Is the F250 alot more noiser and stiffer ride?

How stark is the difference?

Or maybe there's just s slight difference?

I will probably end up driving both before I buy in a few months, but maybe the difference is so great it's not even worth trying both.

I want the truck to have a quiet smooth ride to use as a daily driver.

Thanks in advance!

Also, the reason I'm considering the F250 is for the additional work capability, hauling and payload capacity.

Could also plow snow better with the 250 than the 150, meaning less wear and tear on the 250.

If the driving experience is small enough I'd just go with the F250.

Thanks again...

I have two friends with Powerstroke F-250 SCrews. The ride is much stiffer especially the back seat with a little extra wind noise. Most of the stiffness comes from the factory tires that are inflated to something like 60 PSI to increase the mileage. One replaced his tires with All Terrain BFG's. It helped alot but he lost about 2 MPG's. I'm sure others know more about this than I.

If you're looking to plow snow, you should go with the F250 SCrew. Ford specifically does not recommend using a snow plow on the F150 SCrew.
There is a "Snow Plow Prep Package" available for F150 XLs and XLTs, but this isn't available on SuperCrews.

Your talking 2 different beasts. Ride is totally different really. One rides like a big truck(F250) and the other like a big car(F150). For work, plowing, and heavy duty 4x4ing your better off to go with a 250 or better yet a 350. I've been able to ride in 4 different models. I had a 01 Screw and it rode considerably worse when compared to my 04 Screw. A buddy of mine had an 02 Crew 250 and it rode better than my 01. Now he has a 03 350 Crew with some meats on it and an 8ft bed and it rides like a TANK. I'm not saying that tanks are bad it just depends on what or who you want to run over. All that said I'll refer to my previous comment, one rides like a big truck, the other like a big car. I guess it just depends on what your looking for. Go drive them both and see. Good luck.
