I always said when I got a 150 i'd get the 4.6 b/c of all the performance stuff from the mustang. I test drove a 03 in may and got my 04 in dec. both were super cabs and had the 5.3 both had much more umph then my companys 4.6 regular cab. The 04 has a good bit more then the 03.
The new truck hit 80 in a heart beat and ive averaged 18, the same as the 4.6, when my truck is much heavier.
Pay the differnece you won't regret it.
