First Dealer Service

I had a freebie oil change coming from the dealer, but it had to be used by a certain date. My truck only has 1200 miles on it, but the time was running out so I took it in. There were a few pluses and minuses...

I was told to expect to wait an hour wait, but I spent almost two hours getting a serious case of numb butt. Everything checked out okay, which isn't a huge surprise since I haven't had any problems and there aren't many miles on it. After an hour and 45 minutes the paperwork finally made its way up to the cashier, but she didn't have the keys yet. They were steam cleaning the underside. I drive through a lot of mud here and I know when I wash it, it takes a while to knock off all the mud.

The extra service was appreciated, but they've got some work to do on the amount of time it took. The price of the service was supposed to be $20.86 with tax, but this one was free. I'm sure the intent of the free service was to get you to come back, but I can't afford to sit around there for two hours plus the driving time.

After reading everything on their magazine pile I caught myself watching a soap opera on the TV and realized I'd been there WAY too long :o

I'll bet that with all that mud removed from the truck's underside you'll now begin to experience the 'bed shake' over that monster road up the hill.
