Ventshades?

Anyone out there have ventshade or similar window shades? The '04's cabins are pretty quiet. Just wondering how the cabin noise was after install.

Thanks for the info

I have them on my truck, it's still the quietest truck I've ever ridden in. They don't increase cab noise with the windows up and seem to increase the tinyest bit over stock with the windows cracked.

Thanks sykox. What kind do you have? I see ventvisor has "quik snap" visor. Not sure how or where these snap.
I am used to the type with 3M tape that insert up into the window channel.

i installed the quik snap vents on mine and have noticed more wind noise than before.....i like the looks and they install very easily but will take away some of the "quietness" of the truck....

I have Ventshade brand visors, they are the kind that use the tape. Had them painted to match the body, you can see them here: http://www.sykox.com/F150.htm Like I said, a little more noise with the windows cracked but I noticed no real difference with them up.

mine slide into the window trak and then there is a "clip" that you put in the trak to hold the vent shade in.....easy to remove if needed too.....the clip is about 2'' long and looks like a "V"..pops rite into the trak 1/2 way covering the shade.....

I have the EGR in-channel visors on my '04. They just slip into the same channel the window does. When the window is up it helps hold them in. They fit pretty tight. Its been to cold to drive with the window down, so don't know if they make noise or not.
