BUT... why are they not accurate?
Don't these checks come right from Fords system?
Here is my last check from last Friday.

Produced Date: 2/5/2004
Gate Release Date: 2/6/2004

So I called my dealer today to bitch that my truck had not shipped yet... and he said..
"What do you mean?... It is sitting in the lot right now. It just came in last night"

I was WTF?!!!! Oh well... WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That Vin check was WAY off!

I went to the lot (they were closed) and pressed my face against the service bay glass....there it was...mmmm..I left a drooling tongue print

So for all who look at the vin check results to see the status of your truck... it might not be 100% accurate.
