a/c & recirc buttons

I was driving home last night, and noticed the a/c & recirc buttons were both lit up in blue. I pushed buttons, and they both stayed blue. In every other vehicle I've ever had, the lights would have toggled on & off. Do I have a problem? The manual says the buttons turn 'em on & off, but doesn't say anything about the lights!

I love this truck! I'm getting 14.8 mpg on my first 2 tanks. No rear end growl or slip, no bouncing bed, no creaking or cracking steering, no vibrations. Everything so far is just perfect . . . SO SMOOOOOOOTH . . . except for those 2 lights. Any thoughts?

If your air was on "Max A/C", they're going to stay on to ensure you get the coldest cold, or the hottest hot. If you have the defrost on (or defrost/floor) you won't be able to turn the recirculation on because the defrost requires fresh air to operate properly. Otherwise you should be able to push the buttons for On/Off (unless of course the air is in the "Off" position. Sounds dumb to say it, but someone would have surely flamed me for it).
