GTULLOUS,
I ran your VIN and here is what I found: It was built on 12/23/2003 and it was purchased on 01/09/2004 probably from Extreme Ford. I'm not sure what date you actually took delivery on the unit but it was serviced on 01/05/2004 at Extreme Ford for an oil leak due to a faulty oil filter adapter.

Hmmmmmm.........Thanks for the info Silver04Suprcab..I did buy it at Extreme Ford on the 9th.......I did not know it had already had some work done on it tho....My service manuel says oil change at 5k but i think im gunna take it in at 1k and have it done just in case......I have 650 miles now and have not noticed any of the problems that alot of guys here are having like rattling noises and beds shaking..This truck rides as smooth as a luxury car..the audiofile is a great stock system and everythig else about the truck is awsome so far.......hope it continues..
GTULLOUS,
I agree. I havent had any problems myself. I brought it in for a rear end clunking noise when I hit driveways at about 15-20 MPH. My fellow technician took it for a drive for about half and hour and he could not duplicate my concern. He then took me back to his stall and shook the bed of my truck back and forth and the concern was duplicated. he said it is the 2 rear axles making the noise because there is some open space between the two of them because if they touched, there would be a metal grinding noise all the time so there is space where the axles move back and forth. anways, that was reasurring to me and I love my new truck. I feel bad for all the people who are having problems but that is what warranties and ESP's are for.....
