Question 6 x 135 - when will wheel companies catch up?

There sure does not seem to be much availability out there for a replacement wheel in 17" or 18" sizes for those who would like to keep their stock tires. Does any body know of any chrome 17" rims?

Actually, the big name wheel companies already have quite a few 6X135 designs. Some may be too wide for the sock tire. You might try:

American Eagle Series 101

Youll just have to be patient. As with any new vehicle style, aftermarket companies have to get all the information in then do the design work. once the designs are done and signed off on they have to retool all machines and run a couple for testing. after the testing is done and any other changes are finalized, then they can start making a run of the item. What Im trying to say is it takes time to do all this and get all the legaleese in order. The aftermarket companies are working hard to get their products out because of the popularity of these new trucks. Just try to be patient with them, I have a feeling it will be worth the wait.

most of these are 20" or bigger

I have noticed some of these new selections trickling down but very little if any at all exist for stock sizes.

Check out the American Eagles. They have 17's and 18's on the link I provided. They also have more styles in the 6x135 bolt pattern.

Just to make sure the 6 x 5.5 is not the same as 6 x 135mm
is this correct?

If I did my math correctly 6x135 is about 6x5.32".

Can anyone confirm that I don't have a chance in heck of getting okay looking rims with the 7 lug hubs?
