Question xenon bulb kit available?

Does anybody know of a xenon headlight kit that will fit the 04's? I can't even find the super bright "blue" bulbs that fit the new 04's. Any ideas who might sell them?

Contacted Sylvania via email about same topic a couple of days ago. Was informed it will be spring or summer before they will have a 9008 type Silver Star bulb and no estimate on the "blue bulb" type.

Thanks for the info. I really think they would look very cool on this truck. I can't wait.

Might want to investigate the 9008 bulbs from Australia as they have been used there for some time. Here's a link to some 4200K blue bulbs for $38.50 Australian.. about $29USD. No telling what shipping will be, but you could be the first kid on the block with blues.

The link listed above doesn't work (an extra "http://" in there). Try this: http://www.importscene.com.au/category56_1.htm
I'm glad to that Sylvania is at least working on the 9008. Like everything else for the 2004, if we can be patient I'm sure there will be a bunch of aftermarket light options (eventually). Does anyone know if there are potential DOT issues with those blue Xenon bulbs on the Australian site?

Are these 9008's only available in the "blue" or can one get them in the "white"?

Also, what about matching the fog lights? Is that a possibility yet?

9008 is the headlight bulb in your 04 F150 from the factory. They are "white" and shine "white" The High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting in high-end vehicles and an option in others illuminates blue. When I mentioned blue bulbs in my previous reply I was referring to HID. HID lighting is not available on the 04 F150 but there may be an aftermarket upgrade kit from Sylvania, Wagner, or other OEM. Sylvania has what they call Cool Blue lambs. The lambs are blue and they cast a blue light but they do not have them in the type 9008 bulb. Except for being cool I do not think there is any advantage in using Cool Blue lamps. Sylvania does have a parking lamp that will work in the 04 F150 that appears blue when not on but glows amber when powered. Check out their website @ www.sylvania.com
