Sorry for the thread, but....

im still having difficulty deciding on a color and now a style

i WILL have a SCREW!, but now i am wondering how a screw looks with flaresides? i cant decide if it looks to bloated in the front?

any pics?

and that directly leads me to the FX4 vs the Lariat decision....

i like the shadow grey bottom with a white truck (Fx4) but also a beige bottom (lariat) and i love the black interrior

sorry guys, bare with me...

i saw a silver with grey bottom today at the dealer and ruled it out--nice , but not my cup of tea

but what do yall think, SCREW w/flarsides? or does a SCREW have to be a styleside thing?

The Supercrew comes only in a stylside 5 1/2 ft bed...I like solid black with black leather on the Lariat....Im kinda biased tho since that is the color i bought.... ....They all look nice so just get the color that you like best because its your $$'s making the payments...

Lariat

I picked the Lariat over the FX4. It kinds of depends on if you actually do off-roading, if you don't the Lariat has a better option package and the faux wood looks great with the tan interior. They tow the same and the Lariat has a nicer interior (in my opinion), and the automatic climate control - NICE.

The 3 big differences are the looks of the Wheels, Front grill, and interior trim. I went with the FX4. I liked the 18" wheels better, I didn't care for the gold tint of the lariat grill, and like Motor Trend said the faux wood in the Lariat looks like the contact paper used in the 70's to line cabinets with.

The Lariat comes with 18 inch rims (I was under the impression that the FX4 came with 17 inch). The faux wood grain trim in the Lariat
(although cheap) looks good in the Lariat with the tan leather interior. And the Lariat is as good an off roader as the FX4.

The FX4 indeed comes with 17 inch rims/wheels/whatever term you use for them. 18 inch is an option on the FX4. I went with the FX4 and 17's on mine cause with 18's it would be too tall to fit in my garage.

I have also heard that the 17 inch wheels with the lower gear ratio are better for off roading.

Just look at my gallery and then go with the FX4. You shouldn't need any more convincing than that.
