Endless complaining

I frequent several special interest forums related to my hobbies and interests. Of all of them I have to say that this forum takes the cake for endless petty complaints and whining.
I can understand being annoyed at problems and defects in an expensive vehicle but when has it really ever been different in a complex manufactured product?
Today I looked at a thread concerning some complaint about the seats in the 04 model. This morphed into a discussion about the best way to get in and out of the truck. My first thought was that this was a joke. Afraid not.
Think about this.... Adult men actually using band width to learn about alternate methods of getting into their precious pick up trucks.
This is unbelievable. How can so many Nervous Nellies earn the $30K+ it takes to buy one of these vehicles?

I know what you mean. My truck is red but when the sun light hits it sometimes it seems like a subdued orange. And that's not what I wanted when I bought the truck. It seems to me that a truck this nice and expensive should have a paint formula that would keep it looking the same no matter what type of light source hits it. But I'm sure someone will say just to live with it. Maybe I should have gotten a Titan or a hemi-dodge. I think they have good colors. But the Titan wasn't out yet. And I owned an orange Mopar (69 road runner) when I was younger. But you're right about the band width wasting. It' s a good thing I have a cable modem. It seems some people have nothing better to do but nit pick over things. Other than that its a great truck.

Bill you really hurt us "nellies" with that comment. To think that we are not able to earn 30+k a year makes me want to tell my mommy on you.

O.K honestly I will waste my time replying to you. If you dont like
what you are reading and it bothers you dont read it. To call people names because they are concerned about wearing out there seats? What you need to realize is that those discussions
take place and usually someone comes up with a way to help the problem.

Lastly I read the thread you are bashing and if I remeber correctly
there are some pretty big "nellies" that would be happy to discuss your choice of names for them.

Let the flamming begin

Ok,thats one but there are a lot of good post on this forum. All of them do not get carried away and you can learn something. You can tell by the third or forth post if it is going to get out of hand. if it is not productive for you move to the next thread and i am sure you will find something you like.

And now you are wasting space on a useless thread that has nothing to do with 04 f150s, if you dont like the discussions on the trucks move on.

My thoughts exactly. Irony is a subtlety that unfortunately some people have no grasp of.

There's no point in beating around the bush! He's already wasted enough of our time. I figured I'd put it to rest.

Amen!!! I myself am sick of this petty complaining. What's funny is that I was thinking about this as I was on my way home from work. I was flying down this dirt road with the radio off. I hear this vibrating from the rear, and I thought to myself, "Why are you complaining about stuff like this, it's a truck, plus I only hear it with everything off including the radio and heater."

Hell on Monday I had this jerk come in with his new Infiniti FX35 complaining about a vibration. I was like, "Hell man, we just got 18 inches of snow, your wheels are caked in it, that's why it's vibrating." There are too many crybabies in this world and they all need to grow up or just perish. I would just love to see these same people live in the days where we had to travel by covered wagons.

What this world needs is man-eating creatures roaming around. Then all of the ignorant people will die. Remember the saying "survival of the fittest." Yep, only the fittest and the smartest would survive from those man-eating creatures.

I'm sorry guys but I'm gonna have to agree with him. Some of the threads on here are pretty damn petty... I don't want to make too many more enemies but:

Sticking ash tray

Creeks when it's 40 below zero

Bed moves around when you hit a bunch of bumps

windshield wipers should swipe another inch to the left

Can't hold foot in same position when turning off cruise control

Tailgate bounces up and down a little when you leave it down and hit bumps.

No light in the ashtray

Sparkplugs cost too much after they need replaced in a hundred thousand miles.

Ford is cheap for not painting the door handles

Remote unlock only works to 40 feet away

OK I really didnt want to go here but I cant help myself. Im on both sides, sorta...Heres my point, if you pay any where form 30 to 40k for this truck or any vehicle for that matter you expect a certain degree of quality. Some issues brought up here may be petty but who cares, I bet over 80 percent of what is brought uphere is legit and more than one person has experienced it. If thats the case then its likely a problem and Ford should do something about it. If you want to see PETTY CRY BABIES, look at guys that own boats. Big or small, I deal with them all. Now your talking about big bucks from 50k on up to 1million. If you spend $500,000 on a new boat and in two months of runnig it out in the ocean you see some stress cracks in the corners or at the transom or where ever, your gonna be pissed. But to bad, its fiberglass that flexes, your jumping thru waves and big seas its gonna crack. Theres not a boat manufacturer out there that warranties stress cracks. But I hear it all year long, that this boat is a piece of crap. Im just saying that no matter what it is, theres always a good and bad side to everything.
Another point to make is this. If you got this far in my post you obviously have some intrest in what Im saying. If not you wouldnt have read this far, nor will you finish reading the rest. Same goes for any other post. If you dont like it, dont read it and dont respond. This is for F150 enthusiasts and owners or soon to be owners. If your not one, go find a place were your welcome and leave us alone.

Anyone have this problem, its 10 degrees out in the morning and when you start the truck it takes almost 15 minutes for it to warm up?? I think somethings wrong. Mine was supposed to have the instant heat option. Think I'll call my dealer in the morning.

sorry had to do it...lets have fun
A good quote "were all here, because were not all there"

Have a beer and relax. Some people really really love their trucks. Some people use their trucks as tools. I say god bless 'em all.

Exactly!

Every time I close my eyes the truck starts to veer off course! I mean, come on Ford, what gives?! MUST be defective...
