did I @$#* up?
I see all of the post on colors. I don't like tan, I had it in my first explorer. I ordered my new truck and ordered w/w blue with black leather. I know it has thwe tan on the bottom, not by my choice but I just didn't like the tan? Please tell me it won't look terrible??
Thanks Sheryl
Thanks Sheryl
You are suffering from post-ordering-new-truck-anxiety-disorder (PONTA) completely treatable condition if you catch it early---go to nearest Wal-Mart and purchase 24-silver cans of Bud Light and consume as many as you can stopping only when asleep or feeling better about truck-------
I too felt the same way---something about ordering your own truck---when you read these posts like this you begin to doubt your own choices,,thinking about different colors because you had the ability to pick exactly what you wanted, and you like some other ones you see as well, and everyone of them look great in my opinion----the blue will look great,,,just relax---if this message didnt help, refer to top one again----

Sheryl,
I also ordered a wedgewood Lariat (scab) but ordered the Tan interior because I live in the South and the black interior would be unbearable in the summer. I really liked the black interior (I saw it in a Arizona Beige Lariat) but didn't go with it. I think it will look good in your truck.
I also had anxiety about my truck after ordering. I really struggled between the wedgewood and dark red colors before ordering. I went with the blue but continued to change my mind until my dealer told me I was "locked in" and could not make any changes. I have gone to the local dealer several times and looked at the colors and know I will be happy with the blue, but, there is that little voice in the back of my head saying "...you should have ordered the red".
Good luck and give 'em hell (about your wait, 21 weeks is unacceptable!!)

Sheryl.
I saw a Az beige S-crew with the 40/20/40 seats in a black interior about a week before we got ours. It was gorgeous. Even my wife liked it and she does not like black interiors normally. We would have changed to black if it hadn't been too late.
I dont think you will be disappointed. Like others have said, we all start second guessing our decisions on a long wait.
By the way, sorry to hear about your long wait.

The folks at Ford, and the other auto manufactures as well, pay designers some fairly big bucks to pick colors for their vehicles that will compliment them. Some exterior colors are reserved, or not used, for specific models and the same is true of interiors. Remember, you truck is a rolling advertisement and the styling folks want each of them to look good. White, black, and red (in some form) staples year in and year out while current trends are reflected with the other colors available. The same is true with the interiors colors as well. At the end of the day it is safe to say that all the combinations that are available for ordering will compliment the truck and appeal to the majority.
