Remote entry short range???
I have a theory that may help you, but need to know if the remote receiver has a small wire antennae under the dash or does it use the radio antennae?
I believe my 96 Bronco EB had a small wire under the dash for an antennae, but I don't have a manual to check on the F150.

Hey, don't worry...
Our dislike of the short range will be the least of our probs when they come out with the '05 with lots of tricks to crush the Titan, like a 5 speed auto, maybe a more powerful 5.4 (to compete with Hemi), gearing to give better gas mileage, satellite radio, and other stuff.
Hey, our prob with the remote will seem small...

Just trying to understand...sheez!

Didn't realize this was such a "serious" issue for you. I was simply asking a question as to why it was so important. Now I understand. But to call me gay for asking a question? Seriously, you have some anger issues if you are taking my post as a personal attack or something. I'm here like most everyone else, to try and learn the most about this truck and make it the best for me. Not to get flamed by someone who is a bit too touchy about the subject. Next time I see you on a thread, maybe I'll just not asking any questions at all for fear that you may next threaten to hunt me down for asking a "stupid" question.
