Wind deflectors...outside channel or inside channel?

Has anyone purchased the wind deflectors for the windows? Ventshade makes an outside channel (which obviously is secured to the door with double sided tape), or an inside channel (which somehow mounts inside the window channel).

I have always had the outside channel. I have never heard of or seen the inside channel. What the heck keeps them from falling out when the windows are down???

Which is better in yalls opinin???

Your thoughts???

Thanks in advance...

Getting ready to install some in-channel visors today. They install in the same track(channel) the window is in. Had a pair on my 2000 and loved them. They look much cleaner then the tape on ones.

They are a little larger then the window frame and fit inside the channel that the window does. You have to twist them to get them in so they are pretty tight. When the window is up the window holds them against the rubber molding. When the window is down they hold themselfs in because they are larger then the frame. I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow before the rain and ice hits.
