Thumbs up Ford Emblems (Front, Back, and Steering Wheel)

Go into my gallery and take a look in MODS. I had my emblems made with BLACK/CHROME.

Very nice! Dig that leather too...where did you go for that and what was the cost? Both the leather and the emblems.

I dont know if his are decals or not, but there is someone on e-bay selling decals that fit on the factory medallions. He says he can make them in a few different colors like red, blue, black and carbon fiber there may be other colors, im not sure. I just search "2004 Ford F150" and see whats there.

Emblems ARE from eBay.

Ebay is exactly where I received these decals from. They fit right over the top of the existing emblems with to trimming. I did take a sharpie marker (black) and outline the decal, however. If you look real close once they are applied, you can see a slight mark of blue from the old emblem.

As far as the aftermarket leather, it has NOT been installed yet. That is just a picture from the company which will be doing mine. They will install front and back for around $899-$1299.

I don't think the eBay seller of emblem decals/stickers will mind any extra business, so here is his contact info. I emailed him about color options from one of his auctions a week or two ago. You can go through eBay or buy direct. Several styles, several colors. Price ... no idea.

Name: Ivan Chan
Email: autosticker AT comcast DOT net
eBay ID: softdecal

Personally, I'm thinking solid black might match my truck just right. Who needs the blue oval!?

YellowFX4SCrew, which brush guard is that? Maker, model #, etc.?

Also, let us know if these decals have any problems with the elements (weather).

The front grill guard is "Manik" 2004. There is only once kind for 2004 in Black Powder Finish.

As far as the emblems and the elements; I have had no problems and have had them on for a few weeks. Washed my vehicle about four times in that timeframe. Again, they are perfect size but depending on the centering of the emblem when you put it in, you might need to take a fine tip Sharpie and go around the outside of the emblem. You will never notice the difference after that. They look factory to me.

I love the product.

As far as the grill guard. I was able to tell the accessory shop that I could buy this for $450 or so installed and they were able to match the price. If you call Manik I think the price is about $395 plus S&H. Then you have install $. I love the way the grill guard rocks forward to open the grill. It is a smooth fit and finish.

Heated Seats...

The dealership had them installed prior to my picking up the vehicle. I know, however, there is a place called:

www.classicsofttrim.com

which will install them for $399 + tax (dealer cost). If you have leather installed with them (see pics) it is an additional $325.

Those seats are awesome. I'd like to do blue and black to match my truck. With blue stitching!

Man, that interior is absolutely awesome. Just pops at you and the FX4 logo is way cool. Ford may see that and decide to make it an option. I have a Lariat and I can visualize a darker tan in the inserts with the stock color for the rest of the seat. A red truck with red and black would be sharp as well.

I would option not to have the yellow stitching – just my opinion. Too classy looking with the understated black stitching.

Screwdrive.
