Unhappy Some complaints about this site.

I love going to this site more then once a day I must say, and this site has helped me from going nuts waiting for my truck.

The problem a have with this site is as follows:

Some people post things just to **** others off and to me that a little baby-esh.

Some people here do not compare apples and oranges like the guy who bought the GMC 2500 and a couple of weeks ago someone bought a Ram 2500 and tried to compare them with the f-150..GUYS the F-150 is not in the same class GO look at a F-250 Super-duty and then compare them, (i recommend the powerstroke against the duramax lol .....well I guess thats not fair either lol.) in any case apples to apples needs to be a policy.
I personality like all three of those trucks.

those are my main to things to bitch about, what do you guys think???I'm I way off base??? ..ps my truck came in today pics soon....

thanks David

Yes, you're on track. This is what happens when a group of men get together, much less men of all ages. I use to give very technical advice here. All it gets you is challenges and a headache. You could experience something first hand for 20 years and post exact information, and someone will just tell you "You're Ugly". Then there are the people who post incorrect information just to post (This really helps).

there is some truth to what you say.

Keep in mind how many posts are made and how many members are active and posting.

Don't let a few negative posts flavour your opinion of the site.

I find this site to be one of the best.A lot of the people here are very good with their post.On some of the other sites its the same post day after day.In any enviroment you will find a wide cross section of people and interest.I do agree that some of the post could be given more though.Live and let live.

Honestly? The troll ratio here is very low compared to some sites.

As far as bad info - you get to know who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't if you just spend a little time.

Use the search engine if you question someones advice - read their other threads. You can tell alot about a person by reading their prior threads.

Its the internet. There are alot of knowledgable people out there and some that think they are. Your job is to get to the point where you can filter out the good from the bad.

Just my .02 worth...

Dont let the ramblings of a few drive you away. This is one of the best F150 forums there is. Yes there are others but in my opinion they dont hold a candle. Stay long enough to figure out whos blowing smoke and who really does know his stuff just my .02

The spelling and grammar on this site really are appalling.....

I've got used to it over the last few months...it seems worse on this board than anywhere else.

I mentioned it once and got flamed......something about...."It doesn't really matter as long as we understand"

Well....yes it does matter !!!

Is it really too much trouble to read through a post and check on a few simple spellings ?

But what really gets me is when the thread title itself is incorrect.

Just what does...
"Some complains about this site. "
...actually mean ?

And then....

Some people post things just to **** others off and to me that a little baby-esh.
I mean we could talk about split infinitives...."**** Off Others"...
but if you can't spell "Babyish", there's not much hope for THAT is there !!!!

I won't bother to point out the other basic mistakes in the first post but please if you are going to contribute have the decency to check your posts through......these can be read all over the world, and I know of youngsters in third world countries in Africa who can manage better than this !!!
Some people post things just to **** others off and to me that a little baby-esh.

There once was an English professor that had been stopped for a traffic violation. As the officer was walking away after giving only a verbal warning he said, "drive safe now".
The English professor replied, "don't you really mean drive safely"?

The officer returned and wrote the English professor a ticket for his traffic violation.

Lenticular, Hows this? He without sin cast the first stone. If I must I can explain that. Using spell check of course.

And your right I shouldn't have rushed while typing that post.

Have to say, I am probably one of the worst offenders.

No defense as Lenny is correct. No excuses. If I have the time to peruse the boards and post, then surely I should make the time to spell/grammar check.

This thread was hijacked by the very thing SuperCrew04 is talking about.....

Who cares how any one person on this board spells I mean come on are we in school. Why is anyone grading grammar and spelling.

Besides that I think that every single person on this board is intelligent enough to understand the meaning of 99% of the miss spelled words.

Oh and the poor grammar.
