Child Seat Tie Down Bothering Anyone Else?

You remove the middle seat belt cover at the top of the seat. Then pretty much straight down from there is a black plastic clip that has to be removed. Then the back lifts up and out. Bill Maier has a post on the 2004 forum with a pic. Might want to search back a bit. I am on the thread too if it makes it any easier to search it out.

These child seat straps are held in with one bolt.

tuck the straps

If you take the plastic off they go totally out of sight. Try that first, it's real easy and you might want to use them one day as a tie down

It was starting to annoy me this week so I pull the back panel off and unscrewed it. Then threw it in the dash, in case I needed it in the future.
