Question syn vs dino

should i use synthetic oil in my 2004 F-150? anyone else using it? My other truck got dino.

The proper oil is 5W20 as per the owners manual.
It is a semi synthetic.

Without question, synthetic oil is the best protection you can buy for your engine. It consistently outperforms conventional oil. Castrol or Mobil 1 will do the trick. Good luck.

If I had a brand new truck, it would never see anything other than Mobil 1 fully synthetic after my first oil change.

Man,if you knew how much I have debated on this oil question. I have finally came to the conclusion of castrol synthetic blend. I have done alot of looking on the web and seen some test data on syntec and it was pretty good. I've emailed castrol for the specs on the new 5w-20 blend oil. If they send it to me,and if any one is intersted,I'll post when I receive.
