3 of us have a build date of 1/26. Mine is headed out to CA. It was supposed to be a build date of 1/19 but got pushed back a week this week. I almost had 3 weeks from order to build
Sorry for all the waiting everyone else is doing. I'm sure it'll take longer now, but the longer it takes the bigger down I have. haha. It seems like my current car seems worse and worse every day. I'm sure it's the same as always but the though of cruising the new truck has me disliking it more and more every day!

I just did another status check this morning....not only do I have a VIN, but I also have a build week of Feb 9!

I've heard different things. LT tires, two tone paint and black platform running boards are a few of the items I recall reading about, but I don't know if they were actually in short supply.

 

hey everyone, Just thought I would say hi and let you all know I was here a couple of months ago. I ordered my truck and had the worst wait of my life. Then found out it was built and shipped but they couldnt find the truck, then thay found it and it still took almost 2 weeks to get from KC to Connecticut.

The truck is well worth the wait. I love it and cant imagine driving anything else right now. I got rid of my 02 Mustang GT to get this truck and not one regret. Check out my pics.. be careful..the Blazing Yellow is addictive

 

Neil ... you named the same list of items I've seen discussed on this board that sometimes appear to be the cause of some delays based on unavailability of components. Based on the great thread by XCR440SP on how the whole systems works, it is also apparent that how the dealer placed the order (i.e. priority and grouping) strikes me as the other main cause of long delays. SuperCrew04 has been waiting since 10/2 for no apparent reason, why others are ordered, built, shipped and received before someone (like SuperCrew04) only gets to the VIN stage. Maybe Ford needs to apply Six Sigma to the factory order process.

 

MrPhish the only thing I know is that my salesman didn't check for a couple of weeks and the factory pushed my truck aside because the chrome tube running boards were backordered.
He didn't check until I called and said where is my truck. It was held up 2 weeks. That sucks. I was very ticked. However he did call yesterday and told me my truck should be here the week of february, 2nd. so I am praying!!


P.S. I'm the one who iordered 10-2 I think supercrew04 ordered in november?

I'm no longer in your club, but I waited 19 wks. Ordered on8/21 and arrived on 12/22. Good luck to all of you. It is worth the wait.

what took your's so long did you ever find out? Just curious and tired of waiting, hoping there is nothing else holding it up!
