Redundant Drivel........

What part of "Ford F-150 "message board don't you understand. Compare, contrast, rant, rave ......if it's not A F-150 or something related to a F-150 then move along Finious.

The Titans are Ugly .......period. I don't really give a crap about projected tow ratings, that little storage box on the side, or any of the other attemps the manufacture has made to produce what they would call "The truck that will de-throne the F-150".
It's not going to happen.

Not only is the Titan Ugly.......almost every vehicle Nissan has in there line is Ugly. I will give them Kudos for quality, thats it. That is all relative. The quality of the Tundra is also very good, but it's not the next F-150.

Need a truck, Buy American

That Titan IS ugly! The grille kinda reminds me of "Jaws" in the old James Bond movies.

MROLDV8,

I didn't really intend to reply to this thread, until I saw your post.

My comment would simply have been "I don't like the Titan front".
But; Boy!!! Did your anology hit dead center!!!
Brilliant comparison.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I reckon. I don't much care for any of the new Nissans.

The F-150 SuperCrew, however, is stunning in all of its details.

I also tend to doubt the quality claim. I've owned two Nissan pickups. They were OK for what they did, which was cheap and small and reasonably reliable, but the bodies were stictly Old Japan Junk, very tinny, poor paint quality. I realize that it is possible Nissan has upgraded their bodies, and to be anywhere competitive with a Ford body, they'd sure have had to make some serious improvements.

I haven't seen any of the Titans here in Albuquerque yet. I do see quite a few new Fords, though, both the new body F-150 and beauceu Super Dutys. But then, this *is* Ford Country.

Dana 44's are no big deal. They are the upgrade axles on the Jeep Wrangler. GM and I think Ford used them for a while as front axles on the 1/2 ton trucks. I wouldn't consider them any big deal on a modern 1/2 ton truck. I think part of the reason for using Dana, as well as Rancho, is so they have some big recognizable names they can use in marketing. The Rancho shocks are not considered any big deal. I have them on my 3/4ton, and couldn't tell any difference between the factory shocks and them.
Now if it had a Dana 60 rear, full floater, then that would be something.
