2x4 SCrew

I am in central IL. There plenty of 4x4 from which to choose, but I had the dealer search for a 2x4, enough were found that I had a decent selection. Most dealers trade back and forth. You can do the search yourself just go to the FoMoCo website.

2x4's can be found at any lumber yard in the country. However, if you're looking for a 2WD truck, I would recommend a 4x2.

I have a 4x2 Lariat and absolutely love it !! The ride is second to none, barred none. I have 3.73 LS and am getting around 14.3-15.5 MPG, depending on driving.

I've got a 4x2 XLT with 2.55 LS and I love it. I get in between 16 and 17 MPG.

I picked up my True Blue Screw 2wd on Wednsday and love it. I haven't made it through the first tank of gas yet, but it should be around 16-17 with the 3.55's. I'll post back after we run a couple of tanks through it.

I've had my 4x2 Supercrew since early Sept.. It's ride and handling are 1st rate. I look forward to driving it. With the 3.55 ratio, I get about 15mpg.. Maybe I'm crazy, but power seems to get better and it has a throatier exhaust note with time.
