Question Woodgrain Interior

I've been going back and forth trying to decide whether I should get an FX4 or Lariat. Both have their pros and cons, but the biggest problem I have with the Lariat is the woodgrain panels in the interior. I just don't like them very much (no offense to those who do.) I downloaded one of the custom brochures you can personalize on ford's website, and the following was listed as an optional package on the Lariats:

Lariat upgrade accessories group. Includes chrome tubular cab steps,
power
sliding rear window, simulated woodgrain interior trim

Does this mean that you can now get a Lariat without the woodgrain, or is this just a misprint?

Thanks.
Brian

It's my understanding that all Lariats come with the woodgrain accents.

I wasn't real crazy about the woodgrain either, but after a couple weeks with the truck, I'm getting used to it. I kind of like it now.

However, I really like the FX4's black inserts - those look pretty nice!

I have a Lariat. I cannot stand the wood paneling. I am going to replace it as soon as someone comes out with a good replacement. Another option is wait for the lightning to come out and order the panels from a lightning.

I assume the L will have the electronic tempature control stuff? Otherwise the standard temp. '*****' wont allow proper fitment.

Sorry! I must have been thinking that the dash cover allignment would be out of whack and then and crossed that up with the word fit and volia! the word 'fitment'.

Just make sure your kids don't read this site or else they may end up with an 'F' in English class! hahaha

From dictionary.com:

fitment

\Fit"ment\, n. The act of fitting; that which is proper or becoming; equipment.

In all my travels around the internet before i purchased my Lariat
i never came across that accessory list.It is not in the build up on
Ford direct.com.Also woodgrain is standard on Lariat. There are no options.

WELL, WELL, WELL....

I stand corrected. I guess I'll be getting the 'F' in English.
