Question Sluggish

I have read a few threads about the 5.4 liter being a litttle sluggish, has anyone tried a high flow filter or after market exhaust to get a little more kick out of it........or are these items available yet?

I asked the same question... Nothing, no replies. I plan to do some actually Dyno testing with some products so I'll keep you all posted.

Most of the 04 F 150 trucks are not broken in yet.
After paying $35,000.00 some may need a little time
to catch up before any mods. are made. Also the 5.4
gets stronger with more miles.

K&N filter does not have anything for the 5.4 yet, and didn't elaborate on when something would be ready. They sent me a link to their product request form which I filled out.
Magnaflow, Borla, .....plenty of mufflers/catbacks you can get.
Programming is supposed to be available now
Air Force One and Airaid both have cold air intake systems available.
Search the forum, there are quite a few threads with expected gains etc.

I personally don't think it's sluggish, smooth and maybe different, but definitely not sluggish but if you Do want to pep it up a bit the reprogram of the computer seems to be the way to go. I heard 370 hp or so with 400+ lbs of torque on high test gas. Yea baby! And for around 3-400 bucks!

I like the performance of mine as I've seen what it can do when I pass people on the interstate. By the way, Green Filters has a filter out for it. Check out the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2451811839
