05 f150 King Ranch pic
And I think you will find it IS just your HO !!
All the King Ranch Owners have had the old style of the truck for the last 3 years with those Arizona colored bed rails and I have never heard one dissenting voice.
I think most of us like the contrast.
Just MHO of course.....and a lot of experience of the KR forum !

Hey Ho.
I was congratulating you on your "...experience on the KR forum"...
Anyway, maybe it's just because it's an overhead shot of the bed that the light colored plastic looks odd (IMO)...but like I said in this topic and others....wish I coulda waited for the KR.

Okey dokey...
I do admit that the particular picture as you say maybe accentuates the color of the rails and make them show more than they really are.
You better not go to my gallery and see my old KR with Chestnut / Arizona , AND an Arizona tonneau.
OR my first 2004 Lariat which was Toreador/Arizona with an Arizona tonneau.
I liked the contrast.
However as some know I just traded my first 2004 for a single tone Arizona beige with the same beige tonneau....so contrast is gone !

AWESOME ....
King Ranchs are sweeeeeeeeet !!!!
The minute I sat in one I was sold .... its like my leather sofa!!
Thanks for the pic and info FX4Triton ....
I assume as per usual it will have the Castano leather, moonroof and lighted running boards as standard equipment.
The color looks like the SuperDuty 'Rust' color ..... very nice ... they will probably come in Estate Green as well ....
I wonder if there will be early availability or not ?
Like early summer hopefully .....

It's definately a nice truck, but I can't say I would be happier with a KR over my Lariat. It appears to be pretty much the same with the exception of a few things... seats, door trim, front grille. I just don't know that the price difference (significant, I'm sure) would be justified. I do like the contrast of the interior with those seats, though.
Those P.O.S floor mats are the same !

If the KR seats are as comfortable as everyone says they are, I'm hoping those of us who can't stand the hard-as-a-brick POS regular seats could swap them out. I have the Lariat with the Tan (read white) interior so I don't think they would look that bad. They might accent the faux woodgrain panels.
For a ton of pics go here http://www.wieck.com/public/index.html In the "Search" blank type King Ranch and you will find a bunch of pics. Here are a few:

jstevens,
You've pretty much got it. They up the price and tack on some extra's, like all the leather you see and the special color schemes and such. Personally, I have never liked the KR style F-150's, and this one is no different. The leather seats just look plain out of place to me, as they always have on the old style as well, no matter how nice they may actually feel to sit in. But some people may like the look. I would think they would sell well in Texas (the blue oval truck market), since the interiors and branding always remind me of cowboys for some reason. The KR's always look a little 'tougher' inside, like you'd toss your cowboy boots and lasso in there, whereas I want my truck to look refined and luxurious. But to each his own, that's why Ford is #1, it gives everyone what they want! ...except NAV...
