Navigation System
Navigation System
When I got my '04 I didn't think I wanted the in dash navigation system until I saw Toddh's pictures. Was that a stock Nav system he started with? Now I want to replace my Lariat's head unit (audiophile) with a new navigation head unit. Does anyone know if it can be done or will it take some major modification?
After seeing Toddh's alpine I would love to have something like that but the wife would kill me if I start taking her tupperware and putting it in her $40k truck.

Here are pictures of mine. It didn't require any major modifications.

Hey BigJim, where did you put your amps? I installed the same speakers last night. I also will build my own box with a Kicker Square Solo baric 8". I am looking at putting them stacked on the hump under the rear seat. My box will not extend over it like yours is. Also where did you get the matching carpet? Looks great. Thanks

They put my amp under the driver seat. Well, I have a power driver seat and the idiots didn't test it out before I left. They had the seat all the way up to mount it, but I am 6'5" so that ain't happenin'. I moved the seat back and it dislodged the amp from the floor. I have to take it back to have them put it under the passenger seat(which they were supposed to do anyways). They made the custom box, so unfortunately, I don't know where they got the carpet.
I originally wanted the box to only cover under the middle seat (the hump), but there just wasn't enough room for the necessary air space.
