2. It depends.....

But I probably wouldn't put them on my F-150, though. How strong are they? Are you using your truck for work or off roading? Will they handle it? I didn't spend much time on that site looking for tech info on the wheels.

What profile tire are you considering? Tire selection and use will obviously determine the suitability for your truck. Send pics if you put them on.

 

They would only be used for my longer road trips, especially to and from Houston.
The regular wheel/tyre combination would be kept for the odd bit of beach driving that we do., and regular use.
Haven't got as far as thinking about tyre profiles etc. yet.

We don't have the vast array of wheel designs / styles in Europe that you have here.' which is why I need extra opinions....I haven't seen enough myself to form a rational judgement !!
In fact I'm still not sure about these chrome effect wheels that seem to be so much in fashion over here nowadays !
